The chickens are laying an average of 4 eggs a day so we're scrambling to keep up. Scrambling, poaching, egg salad, and soon lots of home made pasta! They enjoy being out of the coop in the milder weather.
Happily the bee hive seems to have overwintered well. Two days ago the ladies were foraging and coming back with pollen-laden legs, always a good sign.
We've built new square-foot gardening boxes and are ready to start intensive work on reshaping the garden layout...then the rains hit. Hopefully it'll let up sometime later today so work can resume.
